Línea Especial de Crédito "Sostenibilidad Agropecuaria y Negocios Verdes" Colombia

Colombia's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is implementing a special line of credit to finance sustainable projects on 38,000 hectares through agroforestry and agroforestry systems. The initiative is part of the “Produce by Conserving and Conserve by Producing” policy and is aligned with Conpes 4021 to control deforestation. It establishes a differentiated interest rate subsidy according to the type of producer, with terms of up to seven years and a two-year grace period. The program includes economic and financial training for 5,000 people and 50 training leaders in priority municipalities with high deforestation.
